Our Team

GARTH

SENIOR MECHANIC & OWNER

Garth is a fully qualified mechanic, with decades of experience and an incredible knack for solving problems. And motorcycles and riding run in his bones.

While he loves road riding, his real passion is off-road or dirt riding. Garth is happiest deep in a forest getting covered in dirt to the peaceful sound of a two-stroke being thrashed.

Garth is currently riding a Honda CBR1000RR or Cagiva V-Raptor 1000 on-road, and a Yamaha WR450F or Honda CR250R off-road. His current dream motorcycle is a split between a Ducati V4R or a Yamaha YZ250X – preferably both.

LEE

APPRENTICE MECHANIC

Don’t let the title fool you. Lee started off riding bikes around paddocks as a child, and began working on his own bikes in his teens. He spent over a decade in the tyre industry early in his career and is our onsite tyre expert. Now Lee is finalising his qualification. His natural practical talent and deep motorcycle knowledge make him an excellent mechanic.

As well as loving riding his own bike, Lee is a Moto-GP enthusiast. He is an avid Moto-GP Honda supporter and recently attended a race meet at Assen, Netherlands.

Lee is currently riding a Honda CBR1000RR on-road for his daily commute. His current dream motorcycle is a Kawasaki ZX10 RR.

JOY

OPERATIONS MANAGER & OWNER

Joy looks after everything that doesn’t involve fixing motorcycles. After years providing part-time accounts and support, Joy has joined the team onsite. With her organisation and wrangling skills, she keeps the place ticking over.

Joy has never taken to riding two-wheels, but that hasn’t stopped her from appreciating them! She is happy to pillion on something with a reasonable amount of padding. She does love some good four-wheel-driving. Her dream vehicle is a Corvette Stingray or Jaguar E-Type.

Joy also runs another business, The Yarn Queen, for premium knitting and fibre-arts supplies. Well, they do say opposites attract! She is happiest at home with her cat and her knitting, and therefore encourages Garth to go riding as much as possible. She has not been able to convince Garth to start knitting.

BRENDON

APPRENTICE MECHANIC

Once again, don’t be put off by the title – Brendon has been working on bikes for decades, and is also our go-to-guy for fabrication. He finally escaped his office-based career and found refuge in the fumes of our workshop, where he has traded suits for steel caps and keyboards for spanners. He is now well on his way of gaining formal qualification to back up his passion for and knowledge of all things motorcycle.

Brendon is another keen off-road rider and loves kicking up the dirt and mud on his WR450 or KTX200, and he also enjoys taking on fabrication projects in his shed at home.

Brendon currently rides a Kawasaki ZR-7 for road and a KTX200 for off-road. His dream motorcycle is a Yamaha MT09SP.
